The men closed the weekend in dramatic fashion with a commanding win in the Varsity 8+ B Final, finishing ahead of Upper Arlington, Northville, and St. John’s Jesuit. A huge statement performance against one of the strongest fields in the Midwest.

Overall, ETHS Rowing showed impressive program-wide depth with crews reaching championship-level racing across nearly every category entered. The continued presence of Evanston boats in semifinals and finals reflects how far the program has grown and how competitive it has become on the regional stage.

Men’s Novice 8+

4th in Time Trial – 4:49.34
4th in Grand Final – 5:19.94

A tremendous result for the novice boys, earning a lane in the Grand Final and finishing fourth overall in one of the regatta’s deepest fields.

Men’s Junior 8+

10th in Time Trial – 4:51.66
3rd in Final B – 5:17.44

The junior boys fought back strongly on Sunday, earning a podium finish in the B Final and showing strong speed against regional competition.

Men’s Varsity 4+

7th in Time Trial – 5:03.30
5th in Grand Final – 5:22.62

The Varsity 4+ qualified comfortably for the Grand Final and secured a top-five finish in a nationally competitive field.

Women’s Novice 4+

23rd in Time Trial – 6:53.59

A valuable championship experience for a developing novice squad competing in a large and competitive field.

Men’s Novice 4+

20th in Time Trial – 5:56.10

The novice boys continued building experience and depth for the future of the program.

Women’s Freshman 8+

1st in Semi-Final – 5:47.84
4th in Grand Final – 5:42.86

One of the standout performances of the weekend. The freshman girls won their semifinal and followed it with a strong 4th place finish in the Grand Final, signaling a bright future for the program.

Women’s 2nd 8+

3rd in Semi-Final – 5:53.41
8th in Grand Final – 9:46.61

Despite adversity in the final, the crew earned a place in the championship race through a strong semifinal performance.

Women’s Varsity 8+

3rd in Semi-Final – 5:30.87
7th in Grand Final – 5:38.70

The varsity girls advanced into the top championship final and competed against several nationally recognized programs.
